ALL STAR SWING FESTIVAL DVD

This full-length gala concert features the legendary greats live in concert, for the first and only time ever. Recorded at Philharmonic Hall, Lincoln Center, New York, on October 23, 1972 and hosted by Doc Severinsen, this unique program features teh scintillating scatting of Ella Fitzgerald, the melodious measures of Duke Ellington, and the souldful sounds of Count Basie, among others. In addition, this DVD marks the first and only performance of the original Benny Goodman Quartet on TV. Bobby Hackett, Dizzy Gillespie, and Teddy Wilson also appear.
